Adoption fee: $600 — includes the puppy’s spay/neuter (when they’re of age), microchip, core vaccinations, and daily shelter care. Paying an adoption fee rather than purchasing a puppy from a breeder comes with significant savings for a puppy’s first year of veterinary care (for example, dog spays are currently running at $500+ alone).
