Cats Currently Available for Adoption

Profiles may be removed for pending adoptions. Scroll to see, and check this page frequently for new faces when they’re available!

Please note: many cats being cared for in shelter are not listed as available at this time. This applies for cats undergoing medical treatment for curable conditions, healing from a spay/neuter, or recent arrivals completing their stray hold/intake assessment. For example, we recently handled a surrender of 12 cats from one household, some of which are still decompressing and healing prior to finding new families.

If you’re interested in adopting but no one who’s available catches your eye, please still submit an adoption application! You’re always welcome to list ‘undecided’ in the choice section. Be sure to describe the qualities you’re looking for in a feline companion. If any cats fit that description but they’re not able to go home quite yet, you’ll be contacted to discuss further details and set up a visit when it’s possible.

Thank you for your patience and understanding as we tackle significant medical/intake cases. Your interest in adopting will help WAHS continue assisting cats in need!
