REclaiming a pet

if your lost pet is at wahs:

 

  1. Give us a call at 507-452-3135! If it’s outside of office hours, we will get back to you on the next open day.

  2. Be prepared to prove ownership with one of the following:

    • Current veterinary records and rabies tag

    • Personal pictures of the pet

    • Thorough pet description

  3. Schedule a reclaim time with one of our Directors. There will be minimal paperwork and a reclaim fee.

  4. Bring cash or card to pay the reclaim fee. Reclaim fees vary depending on the length of an animal’s stay and the medical care they may have needed during that time.
