Zap came in with a large intake group and had a lengthy journey to become healthy &  adoptable. Since moving up to the front adoptable cat bays, Zap’s continued to make progress. Slowly but surely, he’s becoming more comfortable around the day-to-day shuffle – and is more and more interested in making new friends.

When he’s not batting toys around or tussling with his feline playmates, Zap is frequently atop a cat tower perch with a buddy, quietly observing the day’s activity in comfort.

While Zap is becoming more comfortable each day, he does have mixed reactions to getting attention from people. Sometimes he hangs back, and other times he approaches (especially if treats are involved). He’s more likely to approach if one of his cat pals does since he follows in their footsteps.

Zap will do best joining a home with a feline friend (or getting adopted with another WAHS cat). He’ll need time and patience to acclimate and reach his full companionship potential, and he’s eager to begin that journey with the right family!
