Glimpses of Jessica’s true personality are found not in the chaotic commotion of every day, but in the quiet moments with those whom she trusts. Before coming to WAHS, Jessica had only known the outdoor life of uncertainty, where she had to fend for herself and be on guard. Now that she’s safely indoors, Jessica’s slowly but surely feeling comfortable around more people. Her caretakers and cat program volunteers work with her every day and she’s progressing well. She’s ready to meet kind, patient adopters who understand her and are willing to earn her trust. We frequently discover that cats like Jessica often become the most devoted, adoring companions in time — they just need the right family to help them get there. Could that be you?
