Please join the Winona Area Humane Society and Hy-Vee at Signatures Event Center for the 23rd annual “An Affair for the Animals!”
From 6:00 - 9:00PM on November 10th, guests will enjoy a delightful evening of wine & beer tasting, silent auction bidding, and raffle prizes. All proceeds go towards supporting animals in the Humane Society’s care.
This year, your participation means more than ever. Winona is no exception to the national animal care crisis; our small shelter is feeling the impacts daily, and deeply. In addition to stray intakes from local overpopulation, these troubled times have also caused many pet owners to surrender their beloved companions. As the only Humane Society in the Winona area, WAHS is often the only place for them to go.
Although 2023 is not yet complete, over 200 animals have already been cared for. Expenses associated with the food, housing, and medical care of these innocent souls are rising, but we remain just as committed to the mission. We can’t do it alone, though - and that’s where YOU come in!
As our most significant yearly fundraiser, all proceeds from “An Affair for the Animals” ensure that WAHS can continue to heal, care for, and find homes for many more animals. Whether you attend the event, donate basket items, or provide funds towards the auction, every action helps make the event a success.

Must be 21+ to attend. While a limited amount will be sold at the door on November 10th, they may run out - so we recommend getting yours now to ensure admission!

At the silent auction, there will also be a raffle! Tickets are $5.00 and sold separately. You need not be present to win, but must be 21 or older to purchase.
