‘Tis the season for our annual end-of-year fundraiser, Paws for Reflection!
Each holiday season, we like to give our community an opportunity to pay tribute to animals that have impacted your lives, while raising funds to improve shelter animals’ lives.
Our staff & volunteers know, as caretakers and pet owners ourselves, that bonds with animals can extend beyond our bonds with people - so we want to see all the love you share with your pets, past and present!
Should you choose to participate, each gift may honor a pet currently in your life or memorialize a beloved companion who has passed on. All Paws for Reflection proceeds will go toward the care of our animals in 2024.
As WAHS reflects on the past year of rescuing, reuniting, rehabilitating, and rehoming, we feel immensely grateful for all the donations from people like you, who enable our shelter to continually care for animals in need.
This year our shelter will create a holiday memorial video with the collected photos to share on our pages. That way, everyone can enjoy - whether you’re here in town, or a distance away!
