Notes from Kitty’s caretakers:
“Favorite activities: hiding and running through his tunnel, sitting in the window on his cat tree and watching the birdies outside, watching me in the kitchen while I am cooking.
Favorite treats and/or toys: his favorite toy is his fishing pole toy with a birdie on the end. And his favorite treats are small cat treats — I ask him if he wants snacks and he goes to his cat tree to get his snacks. He is well-trained and intelligent and knows that this is the only place that he gets his treats at.
He is a true scaredy cat. If he sees something or hears a noise that he doesn't know he will hunch his back and run sideways and backwards. He does not get agressive or hiss or bite when he does this.
He loves his person and will follow you everywhere; he will become your shadow.
Kitty needs a non-agressive, soothing, talking home without yelling. And a home that is willing to accept that it may take months for him to settle in due to his traumatic history.
Once he finds comfort he will be your shadow, your loving buddy. He is looking for his soulmate, be it a human, another cat, or a dog.”
