About BeeBee:

BeeBee’s a new arrival at WAHS and she’s waiting for her own personal hero. While she’s currently enjoying a solo living space, what she’d love even more is to come spend the rest of her life with YOU.

Some of BeeBee’s backstory will simultaneously break and heal your heart. For quite some time, she’d been a stray cat hanging around a community member’s house. That person gradually built a foundation of trust until she felt safe enough to come live indoors. But then her rescuer suddenly passed away, and BeeBee had no one again. A friend helped her get to the shelter where she now awaits a fresh start.

BeeBee’s extremely sweet and gentle, approaching new friends with inquisitive affection. She spends a lot of the day snoozing in cat beds, unless she has visitors – then she emerges for greetings, pets, and floor stretches. She doesn’t seem to mind being held once there’s familiarity.

BeeBee does need a bit more specific home than other cats because she’s positive for FIV. It’s advised that she either join a family without felines, or with those who are also positive. FIV+ is only spread to other cats through deep bite punctures, but because we aren’t sure how BeeBee interacts with other cats, finding an FIV+ only home is best.

FIV doesn’t impact BeeBee’s everyday life or require special care; she just has a bit of a weaker immune system and needs protection from illness. She received an otherwise clear medical checkup, so as long as she’s kept safely indoors with routine checkups a happy, healthy life is possible.

If your home matches what BeeBee needs, please consider filling out an application to meet her. She’s had one special person care for her in her life, and she deserves that same love to find her again.
