A little about Rufus:
Can you believe this big guy is still a puppy? Rufus is only 7 months old and still has so much more growing to do - hopefully, out of the shelter and in a forever home!
Rufus is a large, high-energy dog. Despite his activity level, Rufus is not destructive. He directs his energy towards the appropriate outlets, like playing fetch and going on adventure walks.
Rufus is an old soul stuck in a puppy body, displaying that classic goofy puppy energy around trusted people
Once he settles in with a new family, he’d be the PERFECT cuddle buddy
Fully potty-trained
Enjoys car rides and time outside, relaxing in the sun
Knows ‘sit’ and working on other basic training skills
Rufus’ treat-motivation encourages quick learning, so teaching additional commands and even tricks shouldn’t be too difficult
We ask potential families to consider Rufus’ eventual size when expressing interest in adopting Rufus. He is expected to eventually be 100+lbs, and needs a house big enough to fit his needs and size. Get ready to share a good portion of your couch with Rufus!
