Meet June, a 3 year old sweetheart terrier mix who’s ready to embark on her greatest journey yet: being welcomed into a loving home that’ll cherish her for life!

June arrived at WAHS this summer alongside her two pups. Her puppies were old enough to venture out on their own, and June fortunately joined a great foster home. She’s been there for the past few weeks, during which time her fosters have shown her the joys of home life – and she’s settled right in.

June is potty trained, LOVES to be around people, and has a thorough appreciation for chill couch potato evenings. When she’s not busy relaxing, June is always up for a good walk or hike.

In a forever home, June may prefer to be the only dog in the home. While she hasn’t had any negative occurrences with other dogs that we know of, she prefers to keep her distance and doesn’t pursue direct interaction. It’s possible that her perspective could change depending on the individual dog and guided, slow introductions, so it’s really a case-by-case basis.
