About Daphne:
Oh, how Miss Daphne has blossomed! We’ve only known her a few short weeks, and she’s made so much promising progress in that time. She’s quickly learned that people are friendly and loving, and shows extra enthusiasm when those nice people bring her treats! Daphne’s future is bright; she’s ready to spend it with the right person at her side.
Daphne came to WAHS as an unclaimed stray, so her past history is unfortunately unknown. Everything we’ve learned about her is through close observation over time. First and foremost, Daphne is VERY smart. She approaches new adventures with eagerness and excitement, and she’s learning to channel those big emotions through appropriate outlets.
Daphne’s intelligence, drive, and treat-motivation have helped her make strides in learning basic skills – and building confidence. She displays submissive tendencies and will thrive with a family that’ll boost her self-assurance. A dog friend could help in this process, as long as they’re not overly dominant/overpowering.
The ideal home for Daphne will be one that’s active. She’s a HIGH energy gal and needs to be included on all the hikes, runs, and adventures to keep her mind and body healthy.
With consistency, time, and patience, Daphne will breeze through her learning progress and be your loyal friend for years to come! Please consider meeting Daphne by filling out the form below.
