Information: male, likely Pomsky mix, between 6-12 months old, microchipped UTD on vaccinations, and neutered

About Merlin:

Merlin is a recent arrival to WAHS, and he’s ready to run right into the arms of a forever family!

Merlin’s past is unknown; he came to us through Winona Animal Control following a suspected abandonment. He’s estimated to be a Pomsky mix between 6-12 months old. He’s definitely in the midst of his puppy era, wanting to be on the move all the time!

Favorite Merlin activities include ALL the walks and adventures, running around, playing (he’s obsessed with squeaky toys), running around in the snow, hanging with other dogs, and getting attention from anyone he can. Once Merlin’s sufficiently played out, he enjoys cuddles with his people.

Merlin’s in the midst of his learning process. With his treat-motivated nature Merlin catches on to new things fairly quickly and has his basic skills down. He’ll need a family willing to continue that training and give Merlin plentiful tasks to stay busy (he’s a high-energy dog).

It’ll greatly benefit Merlin to have a dog friend in the home, especially a playful one. He’ll need daily enrichment and play activities to meet his exercise needs, and is best suited for a home where someone is around often.
