About Dewberry:

When our shelter received a request to help twelve cats from one household, we coordinated with Animal Control to make space and get them moved as soon as possible. Little did we know that one of those twelve lives helped would include the most laid back, gentle giant: meet Dewberry!

While there’s no way to know his age and complete background history, Dewberry is estimated at around 2 years old. He’s now fixed, medically up-to-date, and ready to find a cozy home that matches his relaxed disposition. 

Although Dewberry looks like he could be the distinguished leader of any pack, complete with a luxurious mane, he’s actually quite tenderhearted and cautious. Dewberry needs gentle reassurance in new situations, and feline companionship helps him feel most at ease. He adores his fellow companions whom he lived with previously, preferring to lounge and observe alongside them rather than play.

Dewberry’s ideal home is one on the calmer side where he can snooze the day away in peace or watch the outside world from a cat tower perch. He’s still getting used to open spaces and new friends, so he’ll benefit from a kind, patient family to assist him in acclimating on his own time. Once he’s comfortable in a new home, Dewberry will repay you with a lifetime of snuggles and lap cat warmth.
