Have you ever wanted to put your furry friend on canvas but don’t know where to start? On April 27th at 1pm, WAHS is partnering with a local artist, Phil Rego, to bring you an afternoon of painting your pet!
Phil has hosted over 250 “Paint Your Pet” events to support animal rescues across the Midwest and is graciously donating proceeds of this event to our shelter. He will be hosting the first “Paint Your Pet” Winona event on April 25th; due to the local enthusiam for the first day, he’s scheduled this second event on Saturday!
Whether you want to try a new craft, create a handmade gift, or simply enjoy an afternoon of drinks and art to support WAHS, come join us at River City Grill where a pre-made sketch of your pet will be ready for you to paint.
To reserve your spot on April 27th (spots are limited), go to Phil’s website: https://paintfido.com/. Under the ‘Shop’ tab, select ‘Winona Area Humane Society’ and book your spot. Registration is $60. Then, wait for an email from the artist to send in the picture you want to paint!
