Have you ever wanted to put your furry friend on canvas but don’t know where to start? On May 1st, Phil Rego is returning to host the fourth “Paint Your Pet” evening here in Winona!
Although this is WAHS’ fourth time collaborating with Phil, he has hosted over 250 of these events to support Midwest animal rescues. Each time, he selects a shelter or rescue to partner with and donate a portion of the painting class proceeds. Animal shelters and rescues are very fortunate to have Phil as an advocate!
The local enthusiasm of last year’s painting classes encouraged Phil to partner with WAHS again and give community pet owners the opportunity to put their pets to canvas, guided by an artist.
How it works is simple: if you want to attend on May 1st, visit paintfido.com/shop as soon as possible. Scroll down to select the one for Winona Area Humane Society. Registration is $60 for a 2-hour, artist-led session. After signing up and submitting payment, wait to receive an email from Phil. You’ll send him a photo of your pet and he will sketch a pre-made canvas. Then, he’ll bring the sketch on May 1st and guide you through the process to complete a treasured painting of your pet.
Join Phil on May 1st for a delightful evening of art and animal shelter support. Sign up now on paintfido.com to reserve your spot!
