About Tazman:

Between Tazman’s signature puppy dog eyes and his goofy, outgoing personality, his charms are nearly impossible to resist! We hope these qualities help Tazman catch the attention of a family who’ll treat him like a prince and heal his gentle heart.

Tazman originally arrived at WAHS under temporary seizure from an emergency situation, but his condition warranted permanent ownership transfer to the shelter. Tazman’s been on the road to recovery from neglect for a few weeks now and he’s prepared for the next portion of his journey – getting established in a loving home environment. 

First and foremost, Taz LOVES meeting new people! He may get a bit up in your personal bubble purely from overwhelming excitement, but after a few minutes he settles down. When it comes to other dogs, Tazman’s had mixed interactions and his ability to live with another dog may depend on each individual situation.

Tazman’s favorite activities include daily walks (sporting a spiffy jacket, of course), thoroughly enjoying his toys, and working on skills for treat rewards. Taz’s treat-motivation helps him greatly with his learning.

We envision Taz in a medium-energy household where he can get his daily walking exercise, then spend some quality couch potato time. As long as Tazman’s accompanied by a dedicated adopter, prepared to send lots of love and care his way, he’s going to be one content best buddy.
