Information: male, Heeler mix, approximately 3 years old, medium to large size, up-to-date on vaccinations, neutered, microchipped

About Bear:

• A playful, *very* smart boy who’s looking to be your new best friend!

• Bear loves meeting new people, making friends easily and developing loyal dedication to those he’s closest to

• Has a medium-to-high energy level: regular daily activity is needed to keep Bear happy & healthy long-term

• He has great leash manners, and walks are one of his very favorite things

• Fully potty-trained + kennel trained at night

• Adores car rides with the windows down

• Bear will happily be your travel buddy!

• Treat-motivated (especially bread, which is his favorite snack – he’s been known to be a bread thief once or twice!)

• Considered dog-selective: he’s had the best interactions with female dogs who have a more submissive nature

• Got along well with cats in his previous home

• Important note: Bear does have a medical condition where he’s experienced seizures. With that said, it’s well-controlled on his established medication, which he takes very well, and costs about $30 per month. We want to be upfront about this so that he can find the right fit family who’s fully informed and prepared – but hopefully not spooked away from meeting him. Bear’s condition is very manageable and, in return for caring for him, you’ll be the recipient of Bear’s grateful affections for years to come!
