The people who found her are located outside our primary service county and can’t care for her at this time due to travel, so they’re hoping to connect with a kind individual who can help her, and provide a loving forever home.

• Name: none at this time, but nicknamed ‘Stubs’

• Breed/Description: Short Hair, Brown Tabby

• Gender: female

• Age: estimated between 1-2 years

• History:

  • Lived as a stray for a long while, roaming a rural neighborhood. Unfortunately her history is unknown, but the finders worked with her for several months to get her comfortable with them and eventually safely inside.

• Medical:

  • Unknown medical/vaccination history, but finders believe she is currently pregnant. In the interest of her short- and long-term wellbeing, her future family will be assuming all responsibility for her and must be prepared to help ‘Stubs’ through her current circumstances, including getting her spayed/vaccinated as soon as possible.

  • Because she is not currently up-to-date on vaccinations and has not been medically assessed, it is not recommended to introduce her to other pets until that is completed.

Information from the finders:

“Energetic! Playful. Before we came into her life, she would seek out warm cars and climb into the engine area to get warm. Then one day we saw that her tail had been cut off, clearly somebody had started their car when she was in it. It broke our hearts.

She will be skittish until she trusts you. She would need to adjust to new people and does not like being picked up yet, but she’s fine with interacting with us. Very affectionate. Gives head butts.”
