About Wasabi:
Wasabi was part of a litter born in an outdoor cat colony. Kind neighbors helped get her to the shelter at just the right age where she could be socialized and avoid the harsh outdoor life.
Although Wasabi spent time in foster and is getting used to the shelter environment, she is still hesitant about opening up around new people and needs familiarity before trusting — but quiet, peaceful moments are where Wasabi shines.
With some chin scratches, gentle pets, and time sitting together, Wasabi shows off her affectionate side. She adores back scratches too, often lifting up on her tippy toes to get maximum contact before rolling over to request belly rubs!
When she’s really feeling comfortable, Wasabi’s purr is noticeable across the room
She’ll likely need a cat friend in the home to feel most comfortable and reassured as she adjusts to a whole new environment
